Traditional Beverages
There are several traditional Russian beverages:
- Kvass– rye bread refreshing drink, extremely popular in Russia especially during summer days, most often bought bottled
- Kompot – sweet desert drink prepared from boiling fruit and then cooling down
- Mors – infused berry juice mixed with honey. Perfect to quench thirst, easy to make and full of vitamins
- Kisel – thick berry drink loved by children
