    Ingredients

    • 10 thin rye breads
    • 5 garlic cloves
    • 70 grams grated cheese (2.5 oz)
    • 100 grams mayo (3.5 oz)
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1/4 bunch parsley (to decorate)
    • some vegetable oil
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    Instructions

      • Prepare the spread mix:
Crush the peeled garlic (leaving one clove for later) through the garlic press, mix in grated cheese and mayonnaise

      • Chop up the tomato, wash the parsley

      • Cut the brown bread into triangles or mini triangles, put a pinch of salt and a garlic clove on a saucer, lay paper towels on the table, and prepare several dishes to later place the fried breads onto

      • Pour a generous amount of oil into the frying pan, heat it up. Fry the slices of bread on medium-high heat in sizzling oil, both sides, drain excess oil of each run on the paper towels and collect the fried breads onto the dish

      • Repeat the same set of procedures for the next rounds of breads - fry, drain, collect onto the dish

      • Cut the thin slice of the prepared garlic clove, dip the clove into the salt and rub onto the fried breads. As the clove gets weary, repeat cuting off a slice and dipping into the salt.

      • Spread the cheese mix over the breads and decorate with a slice of tomato and parsley

This is just the best, i love this one.
If you don’t like garlic this one is best avoided. I’m not necessarily a garlic lover but these go down great. A must have for parties or get togethers

I use grated Parmesan. I prefer mature cheese for this recipe, but actuallly it’s up to your taste.
